Project: I worked with ay-pe to create a touchscreen game for Ordsall Hall Museaum in Manchester. We created the game as part of a 2.6 Millon pound refurbishment of one of Britians oldest, most haunted mansions dating back to 1356.

The aim of the game is to catch as many ghosts as possible, before the clock runs out of time. Once the time is up, the player gets to learn more about one of the four ghosts who haunt the mansion.

“Working with Chris is a designers dream. He is full of passion and excitement for creating something special in the clients work. His ability to listen and then inject life to what he is illustrating is a true talent.

Chris can work conceptually from a vague brief to generate ideas or will happily work within prescribed and heavily art directed boundaries. Chris has an incredible attention to detail and his technical ability match this.

I would heartily recommend Chris as an illustrator. A great guy to work with who will go the extra mile to produce fantastic work!”

    Owen Turner,
    Creative Director, United By Design

“I hired Chris to design the logo for my new company First Aid and Safety Training Ltd (FAAST). He followed my design brief for a 'little green man' with a construction hard hat in a jaunty 'happy to do business' posture and came up with his own interpretation and ideas, including the first aid kit.

He is exceptionally efficient, and I was pleased to be fully involved in the design process from initial sketches through vector designs to finished logos, which were provided in several different file formats for print and web use.

I can't recommend his work highly enough and will hire his services again as my intention is to develop the brand with different positions, maybe even animation”.

    Annette Wingate,
    First Aid and Safety Training

"Bivouac contracted Chris to design a series of characters for an interactive activity site we designed for Hull York Medical School. It was essential that the kids participating in the sessions of life-saving reconstructions and diagnosis engaged with the characters, as they were designed to guide them through essential information.

Chris responded to our brief with imagination, humour, and professionalism, creating colourful characters that were well-suited to the age range of the audience and purpose of the site, and that matched our design style perfectly.

We were delighted when the illustrations were supplied in easy-to-use formats, so we could just cut and paste them into our designs without any further work. He understood what we needed and delivered. Nothing was too much trouble, and little tweaks to the illustrations were handled quickly and efficiently. We have a very happy client, which in turn makes me a very happy client!

It's been a blast working with Chris and I am happy to recommend him to anyone.
